The Old Pendleton District Chapter of the SCGS is affiliated with the South Carolina Genealogical Society, a non-profit, tax exempt organization.  The State Society publishes a quarterly, The Carolina Herald and Newsletter, which you will also receive by being a member of the State Chapter.  The Old Pendleton District Chapter publishes ten 24-page newsletters a year.  New members who join during the year will receive all back issues for the year.
